Gaelic Games: Football is a PlayStation 2 game released on November 11, 2005. It is a Gaelic football game and has been produced by Australian company IR Gurus Interactive (creators of the similar AFL series). The game, features the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and NFL with commentary from Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh. The game was met with poor reviews from the critics and fans alike, who claimed it was no where near the standard of gameplay portrayed by the bigshots, i.e. PES and FIFA. This was no doubt caused by the fact that the game was produced on a very low budget by an independent Australian games company. A follow up game, Gaelic Games:Football 2 was released in November 2007. [source:wikipedia]
